Weight-loss Chocolate?
July 12, 2013
Math graduate Aneesh Popat took another route rather than the traditional one that uses butter and cream. He opted for flavor-filled water and cocoa.
A bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk chocolate packs 240 calories, while Popat's only has 20 calories, reports the Daily Express.
Speaking about his product, Popat said: "Chocolate is good for you if made in the right way. My love of chocolate led me to devote and apply my mathematical and scientific backgrounds to create the most unique flavor combinations with utmost precision and creativity."
He added, "If everything in the world was made of chocolate I'd have eaten it by now. Many people struggle with their weight but I guess I'm here to save the day and their figures."
Dr. Sarah Schenker of the British Dietetic Association also claimed: "As these chocolates boast such a low calorie level and high water content it could be advantageous to people seeking a less naughty treat." The said chocolates are anticipated to be launched in restaurants in London. Popat also hopes to open up a shop in London's St. Pancras Station.
More and more healthy chocolates seem to be surfacing by the minute. Like I always said, it’s not like we need any more reason to indulge in our ever beloved chocolate. However, stuff like this just make us enjoy the treat wholeheartedly.
I wonder what’s next. Chocolate that makes your skin glow? Chocolate that makes you grow a few centimeters taller? Haha let science and nature surprise us!
