Ben and Jerry’s classic pint of chocolate chip cookie dough has just been renamed to, “I Dough, I Dough”, in support of the legalization of gay marriage in the U.S.
The pint features two same-sex cows on the cover, dressed in wedding attire, and the O’s in “dough” have been swapped out for linking golden wedding bands.
White Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe
November 5, 2014
White Chocolate is something I’ve been obsessed with lately. I was late to the white chocolate party, but I’ve finally hopped on the bandwagon.
I’ve been enjoying putting white chocolate in a variety of treats. I’ve made cupcakes with it and even pudding. Always a success! Um, I mean almost always! Where’s the fun in not failing a little, right?

Gooey Chocolate Skillet Cake Ice Cream Sundae
March 19, 2014
The best way to enjoy dessert is to enjoy it with your family. No argument there. There’s something superbly fun and simple about pulling out a large dish of dessert and laying it on the table, putting it right in the middle, and saying out loud ‘dig in’. There is sheer joy that comes with such an experience, bite by messy, delectable bite. Family memories at its best. Well, in this case, gooey chocolate memories.
P. S. using a cast iron skillet to bake cake is just something else. I love the rustic result.
Quadruple Chocolate Eclair Ice Cream
July 17, 2013
As I write this, I’m not at my happiest. Times like this, I find it challenging to have an appetite for food. Even my favorite foods, that make me a happy girl during ordinary days, just won’t cut it. Ice cream, on the other hand, is an exception!
I find the coolness and the flavor very comforting. I especially like mocha/coffee, pistachio, slated caramel, and of course, chocolate ice cream. This one's a nice, fancy take on chocolate ice cream. I'm sure anyone's spirit will be lifted.

If you love ice cream and like working with it in the kitchen, this recipe is for you.
We all love ice cream. Some love eating it, others love making it and then eating it. Give your usual ice cream pie oomph, and take it to a whole new level of deliciousness! This time, use Twix candy bars. Nobody can say no to Twix!
It feels just right when you whip this up. It will lure in the young ones and the once young, I tell you! No matter the weather. 🙂
Twix Ice Cream Pie Spread one of the chopped Twix bars on the bottom of the cookie crust. Stir together the chocolate ice cream and spread it evenly over the Twix bar. Immediately cover the pie loosely with plastic wrap and freeze for at least four hours, or until ready to serve. |
Enjoy! 🙂
Chocolate Oreo Ice Cream Cake Roll
May 1, 2013
At some point in my life, I was crazy about Oreos. As a kid, I remember not being able to sleep if I didn't have my Oreo fix. I was the typical kid who would open the sandwich cookie, and lick the filling. Then I would close it again, and dunk it in my tall glass of milk. You get the picture.
The Origins Of Ice Cream
September 27, 2012
Ice cream is often called "The Greatest American Dessert." Although the product is usually American, the United States cannot claim its origin and source.
Ice cream is a frozen dairy dessert made from cream or milk, often combined and manufactured with other flavors and fruits. Most of the time it contains sugar, though sometimes other sweeteners are used.
The chosen ingredients are stirred slowly while the product is being cooled. This allows the air to be integrated and prevents the forming of ice crystals. The result is then a smooth, semi-solid foam that is highly malleable and can easily be scooped. I'm drooling just thinking about it.
