It won't be long before summer is here, and the song of ice cream trucks and children running fills the streets. For many children, the single best sound they’ll hear on any hot summer day is the catchy jingle of the ice cream truck as it makes its way down their street.
As a child, I recall orange dreamsicles to have been a popular treat of choice. I wonder what the kiddies go for nowadays! Well, if you're looking for a dessert that brings the magic of summer days inside, this chocolate orange-dreamy-cheesecake pairs well with sunny days and bare feet.

Mini Chocolate Chip Gluten Free Cheesecakes
September 4, 2013
I've said it so many times, I'm crazy about cheesecake. What's great about this recipe is the fact that it lets you alter the flavor of the cheesecake pretty easily. Love lime cheesecake? Substitute the chocolate chips for lime zest and lime juice.
If you're going for classic plain cheesecake, you can remove the chocolate chips and add 1 more tsp of vanilla to the batter. If you swear by blueberry cheesecake, substitute the chocolate chips for 1 cup of blueberries.

Nothing beats a homemade treat. The thought of the person you love going through all the effort just to please you on a once-in-a-year event is heavenly enough, the scrumptiousness of the gift is just a bonus.
I don't know about you, but Valentine's Day is a big deal to me. Every 14th of February, I always make it a point to do something worth remembering, worth seeing on photos. No, actually, just worth remembering. It doesn't have to be grandiose, though, just memorable.
However, my Valentine's Day always comes with a treat, be it food, flowers, or sweet treats. Yes, this year, I will be big on sweet treats! While I have a couple weeks left to wait, it's good to have it planned by now. I'm not big on spontaneity, I like planning, so here goes a recipe which I might have to include in my Valentine's Day "plan". 🙂

All Hail Mighty Cheesecake
August 9, 2012
Cheesecake, oh I just swallowed my saliva right there. You are the ultimate culprit behind the smiles painted on our faces--especially on mine, most of the time. I swear by this cake, and I crave it even when I have it in my mouth.
Cheesecake is perfect with coffee in the morning, with an orange juice for lunch, and hot milk before going to bed. But if you cannot get enough of it like yours truly, you can still sneak in a few bites during snack time.
Cheesecake also has that magical taste that comforts longing hearts and tired bodies. Seriously, I may sound animated and overboard, but I dare you to try one for yourself and I would sashay away saying I told you so.

Black & White Cheesecake

Did you know that National Cheesecake Day is an unofficial holiday that takes place annually every 30th of July?
Such tradition, which is actually part of a large tradition of an array of food holidays, is not authorized by any presidents. Also, it sadly doesn't possess any congressional records to back its claim up.
However, we know all too well that thousands, or perhaps millions, of individuals from across the country have their own reasons to celebrate this delectable holiday anyway.

Favorite Chocolate Cheesecake

I enjoy making cheesecakes. Over the years I have picked up a few good recipes. One of my favorites is a Garlic Cheesecake! As you can imagine, this is not for dessert. It's a good appetizer though.
Well, I'm not writing for Garlic University Online so I'm not going to give you the recipe for that cheesecake. Instead, I'm going to give you the recipe for one of my absolute favorite chocolate cheesecakes.
This is a substantial cheesecake with lots of chocolate impact. It's rich and dense. It takes time to make, but the results are really worth the effort.
