Simple Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe
October 29, 2014
When you just don't have the energy and time to mess around in the kitchen, a simple cheesecake is a fool-proof wonder.
The visual impact of this cake is remarkably pleasant, yet, it is one of the simplest desserts you will ever whip up. I encourage you to use a tiptop quality cream cheese for this cake, because it can make a substantial difference to the end flavor, texture, and taste of the cake.
Simple Chocolate Cheesecake Crust:
Cake:
Preheat oven to 350° degrees. Blend all ingredients for crust; spread onto bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until slightly crispy. Preheat oven to 450° degrees. While crust cools, mix cream cheese, sugar and the extracts until well blended. Add eggs; blend until well mixed. Slowly pour chocolate into batter and mix until color is smooth. Pour batter into spring-form pan and make sure to smooth out top. Bake for 10 minutes; reduce temperature to 250° degrees. Bake for 35 minutes longer. When done, remove edge from rim of spring-form pan and cool. Serve with fresh whipped cream and chocolate garnishes or a fruit sauce. |
