Halloween Chocolate Recipes
October 22, 2014
Halloween has always been one of the most captivating holidays, usually celebrated by the young ones and the once young, or shall I say, the young-at-heart. The element of surprise that comes with Halloween (which is surprisingly always present) always screams fun!
It’s not news that orange and black are the Halloween colors, and that’s because orange is associated with the Fall harvest and black is said to signify darkness and death.
Did you know? Halloween is traced back European immigrants bringing it to North America. These people celebrated the harvest around a bonfire, shared ghost stories, sang, danced and told fortunes.
Suffice it to say, candy sales skyrocket during Halloween, averaging 2 billion dollars annually in the United States. Chocolate candy bars top the list (but of course!) as the go-to candy for trick-or-treaters. Halloween also happens to be the second most commercially successful holiday, next to Christmas.
Throw a morbidly good Halloween party with these cute and creepy treats and frighteningly fun chocolate snacks. All these make for a wickedly delicious and spooktacular Halloween party!
