Fudge Brownie Pie
April 13, 2011
Here's an interesting recipe for a brownie within a pie. Basically it's a big round brownie in a pie crust. Sounds like the best of two worlds.
Fudge Brownie Pie • 1 9-inch unbaked pastry shell • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips • 1/4 cup margarine or butter • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk • 1/2 cup biscuit baking mix • 2 eggs • 1 teaspoon vanilla • 1 cup nuts, chopped Preheat oven to 350°. Bake pastry shell 10 minutes; remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 325°. In saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips together with margarine. In large mixer bowl, beat chocolate mixture with remaining ingredients except nuts until smooth. Add nuts. Pour into prepared pastry shell. Bake 35-45 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Serve warm at room temperature with ice cream if desired. |
Enjoy!
