Chocolate for breakfast? Count me in! This chocolate porridge is so simple yet so yummy. It only takes 5 minutes to make in the morning, and it feels like a treat! Check out the recipe here.
Perfect for cold mornings, this chocolate porridge recipe will give you that warmth from within. It’s also great for gut health and it has fiber and protein to keep you fuller for longer. Plus, homemade meals are so much better than those you can buy in the store, since you can control the amount of sugar and salt in the recipe.
Did I mention that this is perfect for kids and adults alike? Add a few chocolate chips and Nutella and the kids will surely love it! Don’t forget to add your favorite toppings, too.
Dark Chocolate Porridge Recipe What you need:
What to do: Combine chopped dark chocolate, oats, milk, and maple syrup in a medium bowl and stir over medium heat. Make sure chocolate has fully melted, bring to a boil then turn down the heat. Add the cocoa powder by sifting it into the pan. Skipping this might make the cocoa powder go lumpy. Then stir and simmer for 3 minutes, or until the oats are cooked and thickened. And that’s it! Serve in bowls and add your favorite toppings. Either way, kids and adults will love them! |
For storage tips, place them in an airtight container and refrigerate up to 3 days. But I'm sure it will all be gone before that! 😊
