Dark Chocolate Covered Frightened Pretzels Recipe
October 28, 2015
Halloween is just around the corner!
Are you ready for all the spook-tastic holiday fun?!
If you're scrambling to finish a child's last minute costume by hand, or simply don't have enough time to perfect every little party detail, this recipe is for you!
This recipe can be made freaky fast, and it's adorable to boot.
Trust me, it's easy as 1 2 3. I found this recipe by Cara from Fork and Beans and adapted it from hers.
If you would like to make your own googly eyes instead of buying them at the store, Cara has a recipe for vegan googly eyes you can follow. See link in the recipe below.
Dark Chocolate Covered Frightened Pretzels
First, dip pretzels individually into the melted chocolate. Make sure chocolate doesn't close the gap where the mouth will be. Then, place two googly eyes in the other two holes to create a frightened face. Refrigerate for about an hour before serving. Or, freeze for about 15 minutes until chocolate is set. (Or better yet, temper the chocolate before dipping, and then they will harden at room temperature!) |
Enjoy! 🙂
You'll get 52 chocolate recipes you can make to impress your friends (and a bonus recipe that's for your face instead of your mouth). The Recipes Of CUO ebook represents some of the favorite recipes we have published over the years.
