Chocolate Butterscotch Haystacks Recipe
January 14, 2015
Got the winter blues? These cheery chocolate and butterscotch haystack treats will take your mind to the warm days of summer - sitting outside on the green grass, sipping on iced tea. Thinking about summertime activities gets me through the snowy season. Well, that, and... chocolate.
This will be one of the easiest recipes you'll ever try. The secret is the chow mein noodles, which will give the haystacks their haystack appearance.
Chocolate Butterscotch Haystacks
Carefully melt all of the chocolate and butterscotch chips in a saucepan, then simply add in the batch of chow mein noodles. Take a handful at a time and form into small haystacks. Place haystack creations onto wax paper and chill until the chocolate becomes firm. Easy as pie! |
Enjoy! 🙂

I used to make way too many of these in college, but I would add cocktail peanuts to the mix as well. Mmmm.
