June 20, 2016
My blog post from May 23, 2016 highlights the delightful chocolate flavors of a dark chocolate Ritter Sport bar from Germany.
I mention this because I have yet another Ritter Sport chocolate review. This is another bar given to me by my mother after her visit to Ritter Sport ChocoWorld in Berlin.
Divvies Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar
June 6, 2016
I love finding chocolate bars that are free from most common allergens. I love it because then my food-allergic daughter is able to safely delight in what many of us take for granted - she can enjoy eating a chocolate bar when the craving hits.
Divvies is a company that makes their semi-sweet chocolate in a facility free from peanuts, nuts, egg, and dairy.

In 1912, Alfred and Clara Ritter opened their small chocolate and confectionery factory in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, Germany. Today, their presence in Germany and around the globe is well known.

Lindt 90% Supreme Dark Review
May 9, 2016
I’m sure there are many who might look at a chocolate bar label with 90% cacao and cringe. That’s almost like eating unsweetened baking chocolate! One would have to be out of their mind to eat such a thing, right?
On the other hand, if you’re into super dark chocolate like me, you look at that label and smile. 90% has some serious chocolate impact to inflict!
Divine Dark Chocolate with Ginger and Orange
May 2, 2016
Recently, I was given a Divine Dark Chocolate with Ginger and Orange bar as a thank-you gift. I enjoy this brand of chocolate, but never tasted this particular variety before.
The chocolate is 70% Ghanaian and, true to every Divine bar I’ve ever had, it is superb.

Salazon chocolates are made from Dominican Republic, 100% organic, Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade certified cacao beans. Then each bar is hand-sprinkled with solar-evaporated sea salt.
Chocolate Vodka with Dark Chocolate Covered Raspberry Creams
April 18, 2016
I recently made chocolate vodka, infusing it with cacao nibs (unsweetened, cracked and roasted pieces from the cocoa bean).
The chocolate impact was fantastic. The chocolatey flavor was authentic and bold since there was no added sugar to distract from the natural nuances of the cocoa notes.
Chocolove Raspberries in Dark Chocolate
April 11, 2016
The Chocolove brand Raspberries in Dark Chocolate is a 55% cocoa Belgian chocolate bar with freeze-dried raspberry pieces.
The texture is smooth, and melts in your mouth evenly. The crispy pieces of tart raspberries add a great burst of flavor that blends very well with the chocolate. And, the chocolate has enough sweetness to keep the tartness of the raspberry in check.
