4th of July Chocolate Oreo Recipe What you need:
What to do: If you do not have dark or white chocolate and cookie moldsMelt the blue and red candy melts. Separate a portion to be used later for the design and toppings. Place the candy melts in a bowl and microwave until completely melted. You may choose to melt the blue first and do the next step before doing the red one if you donāt have an extra pair of hands. Next, dip the Oreo into the melted candy melts until it is fully covered. Then, place the fully covered Oreo into a parchment paper or baking sheet to set. Do this until half of the number of cookies are done then repeat the steps this time for the red ones. When all the cookies are covered, carefully place them in the refrigerator to fully set. Once set, take them out to decorate using the reserved candy melts. Drizzle the reserved candy melts on the cookies, and top with red, blue, and white sprinkles! If you have dark or white chocolate and cookie moldsYou may also use dark or white chocolate for the base mold. Melt the dark and white chocolates and dip the cookies into the melted chocolate until fully covered. If you have a cookie mold, then pour the melted dark and white chocolates into the mold and press the cookies gently into each mold until fully covered. Place the mold in the refrigerator until fully hardened then pop the cookies out of the mold and place them into a parchment paper. Since your base is either dark or white chocolate, use your red and blue candy melts to decorate! Melt them separately and place into piping bags. Pipe the frosting onto the cookies and decorate with any pattern you like! This can also be a great activity to do with the kids! Lastly, allow everything to hardened! Store and serve! These cookies can last up to 5 days in an airtight container at room temperature. Tip: Adding a little bit of coconut oil to the candy melts and dark or white chocolate helps melt the chocolates smoothly. Another Tip: Try with other cookies that you love! How about star-shaped ones for this festivity? |

To do this, you will have to twist open the Oreos into halves, dip the end of the popsicle stick into any of your chocolate melt to serve as glue, and then sandwich it between the Oreo halves.
